heys guys, need alittle help.i'm new to musky fishing.gonna start making some lures, gliders, divers and so on out of wood.what is the best way to seal the wood to keep moisture off of the before you paint.i got some spar but I don't know for sure if it will water proof the lure properly.also which epoxy will hold up to the tooth of the beast [devcon verses e-tex].I use 2 ton on my bass lures and seems to work pretty good but bass don't have teeth like the big girls.wish we had them here in ky.lake.have to go to cave run to find the closest lake.i want to make a quality lure to resell so I want to get my ducks in a row,no junk,i got 3 made I want to seal and waiting for split rings and hooks.i appricate any info I can get.i just found this site from ebay listing from tigger?? he is a great lure builder.from what I see you all seem like family.i luv it james.

I dip my my baits in a wax free sanding sealer sand again and dip them once more. As far as epoxy goes I have only used etex and have never had a problem
