Heading up next week to chase ski's on the chain and some surrounding lakes, any input appreciated!

i was up there this past weekend. Water still a little cold.. 62 in them morning, and about 66 -69 in the afternoon. didn't see any muskies, moved some northerns but that was only in about 1 hour of fishing. Just find the weeds, thats were i would start. Shouldn't be hard, alot of weeds already on the surface in some of the lakes.

Fished this past week on the chain. Had three follows before 530am on a weed line off of sand about 8 feet of water. Top water was successful in the morning hours. Got one mid thirties on a smaller blade during the hottest temp day. Another follow on a Medussa, same fish came back two times but was extremely slow. Smallmouth were almost every cast with leeches. Find humps, rocks and fresh green weeds.
