| I am headed up to Canada at the end of July and will be doing some Muskie fishing for a week. I am very successful on the Lake I am going to throwing Double Cowgirls. Actually that is pretty much all I throw excluding some topwater when the conditions are right.
I have only thrown DCGs to this point and haven't tried any other brands. One of the brands I have been looking at is the A Team tackle's bucktails by Bob Mehsikomer. The only reason I am interested is he talks about how they don't wear him out like the other brands. I really don't have that big of problems with the DCGs but I will try anything.
Does anyone know anything about the A Team bucktails? Do they pull less and do they catch fish like the DCGs?
Thanks, |

Location: Wisconsin | Bob makes quality bucktails but they have Different style blades which do seem to pull less because of how they displace the water. I prefer esox assault bucktails in a EA9s compared to 10s. Lighter bait and easier to pull with not much difference in water displacement. Just my .02cents. Different strokes for different folks. |

Location: MPLS Metro | One trick to try if you want your blades to pull easier is to take a pliers and bend/cup the blades a little. They wont flare out as much making it easier to pull. |

| And when you bend the cup out a bit your bucktails will generally ride a little deeper |
