| Hey everyone I'm in need of a little help! Me and 2 of my buddies will be making the 6 hr drive up to LSC July 1st to the 3rd we have never fished this body of water before. If anyone can give me any tips as far as bait colors and what to look for that would be huge, I'm not looking for anyone's secret spot it would just be nice to know what to start looking for! And if anyone wants to meet up one day we will be staying up near anchor bay! Feel free to Pm me also! Thanks a million guys! |

| What color is best in the summer for rubber? I have heard white along with something darker like a smallie or walleye pattern. Thanks again! |

Location: Kodiak, AK | Summer I cast bright and natural, maybe more subdued toward sunset. Fall, I only cast black/orange. Those are fly colors, but same applies for baits. My go-to color changes year to year. Few years ago, it was gold. Next year it was black/chartruese, then it was copper.... Last year I always had something black in the water and it did me well. You'll have to let me know what this year's color is...I'm 5,000 miles away and muskies aren't en vouge here. |
