yes, barely
just bought the 8'6" telescopic one a week ago
have barely used it but can say:
it is much softer (lighter tipped) than a slingblade -- throws baits up to 2-3 oz really well, but people who like a stiff rod to figure 8 blades will hate this rod for mag 8s and up
I would say it feels like a St Croix rod rated MH 3/4 oz to 2 oz -- but maybe even softer tip....
telescopes down to about 7'4"
will be great for topraiders
