Got my first and 2nd musky ever this week!!! Sure am glad I bought some hook cutters as well they came in handy especially fishing by myself. The first pic is the first one, 39.25 inches on a suick, the second was a whopping 44 inches on a shallow invader!! (the blood is mine don't worry about the fish, got a pretty deep gash on a tooth) Took a year of long days and hard work to get. I was moving fish on small buck tails and gliders, switched to twitching cranks and jerkbaits and it worked!! Both fish were in very shallow water. it was tough fishing, cold front conditions in Oneida county, water temps were 59 in the morning and 60 during the day. What a blast!!!

Congrats, the first is always the hardest! You might want to consider a fish handling glove now.

Good work.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but you should look into some gloves. Those muskies'll cut ya.
