| Thinking about a weekend at Mille Lac with wife, kids, grandkids. My son , son-in-law, and I would fish for muskies and would want a place that would have a beach and maybe some playground equipment for the the women and grandkids. Is there such a animal on Mille Lac? Coming up from Iowa, so would not want to drive any farther north for just the weekend, but would be open to other suggestions on other muskie lakes south of Mille Lac that could work. Thanks.

Location: Minnesota | I do day trips to the pond it's only 70 miles so I would rather stay in my own bed. if you Google it I would think you could find a place to stay..I have used different resorts to put my boat in all seem nice but have never stayed so I can't help you out there. when are you going. might be able to help you out where to fish |

Location: Duluth, MN | The Red Door Lodge is a pretty nice place, pretty reasonable too. I guess it kind of depends which part of the lake you want to fish. Cang get ugly if the wind picks up. You could always load the boat on the trailer and drive to calmer water if that was the case though. |
