| Looking to spend like 40-75$ for a like 4 good trolling rods for down rods.. What have you guys had good success with??...thanks muskie guys.. |

| ugly stick get my vote,2 pieces rod is really not something i want to use for obvious reason,especially when the rod tip is pointed towards the bottom |

Location: Madtown, WI | Cat Maxx rods from BPS may fit the bill. They are cheap and you get get them up to 10' to increase your spread on your down rods. |

No problems with running them as down rods for me.
I'll also add they are great inline planer boards rods. They absorb the shock of the boards cutting thru the waves.
