| Wondering if someone could help me out. Trying to track down this issue. My depth finder cuts out when I bounce on waves, or when I move the throttle from forward, to reverse, or sometimes from neutral to reverse. I have no idea where to start looking for issues. It sits in the slot just fine, it's in there snug. It's a Humminbird 787ci that's not more than a few years old. The connections on the battery are secured well.
Thanks! |

Location: Hayward, WI | Try spreading out the 2 pins for power in the base just a little. Remove the head from the base, one of the plugs will only have 2 pins, try spreading them apart just slightly. |

Location: Twin Cities | Had the same issue with mine. Sent it back and they said it was good, figured out the the power plug would not stay connected so I bent the metal piece that holds the cords on the quick release down so it pushes the plug tighter in. It has been perfect ever since. Hope you understand my rambling.

Had same problem and this fixed it. |

| Thanks to those who replied. Turns out the problem was a severed positive connection for the graph on the back of the fuse panel. Just wanted to post that incase someone else has the same issue. It was hard to detect cause it was barely hanging on by a thread. |
