Just for sh*ts and giggles, I made a gorgeous bucktail out my the woman’s 6lbs long haired Chihuahua’s tail. The hair is 6” long and flows like marabou. Problem is it tangles in the barbs really easily… Does anyone have a method for reducing this? I was thinking some kind of detangler spray for women’s hair or a like coating of some kind. I know I’m overthinking this, but dang it I want to catch a fish on this thing!

Btw, the dog loved the process as many treats were provided.

A little shrink wrap should do the trick

I have a bait tied from our LH Dauch's tail too. I tied one layer of real bucktail on the trebles which keeps the longer/softer hair off the hooks. Works pretty good.
