| I am looking at getting the 580p sunrise lens and was wondering if anyone has them and what are there thoughts. I had a cheep pair of yellow polarized glasses and they didn't work that well. They brightend up the low light conditions but I couldn't see into the water vary well. Also what lens color in the Costa line works best for stained water? Thank you |

Location: Grand Marais, MN | for your stained water question I really like the green mirror 580 too, great contrast with their copper amber base. but those are the only costa lenses I have tried so I cant say they are the best they got for those conditions, but they've been awesome for me. |

Location: beloit | I wouldn't get the grey for stained water, used them for a weekend on the chip and couldn't see any fish that my buddy saw fish and he had amber lenses.
I've used amber lenses on the chip and they worked goood but my favorite ones are ocean waves backwater green, they are now my favorite lenses for all light and water conditions. |

| I have the 400 Series Sunrise glasses. They are great for low light conditons. I switch out to another pair of 580 Costa's if its bright & sunny but the Sunrise are nice. They are a niche glass though and if you only want one pair I would get one of the more tradtional colors, |

Location: oswego, il | costa does not make the sunrise yellow lense anymore. I had mine repaired two years ago and they told me they could not fix the for that reason. I have the green mirror pair and like them. the yellow lense does not always cut glare in low light but on some occasions they do whem the green mirror wont. |

Location: Contrarian Island | save your money and just buy the H30 Polar Clear lense for low light...$35 bux for the frame and lense...no better lense for low light that i have found...i have tried a lot! |

| Costa now makes a Vermillion lens which replaced the sunrise. It is only available in certain styles. I picked up a pair this offseason, gave it some work last night while walleye fishing and it did the job. Will know more once the season opens in a few weeks. As Mojo said, this is a niche lens. I got mine for flat light/overcast days and for added advantage for that time when there is light, but regular glasses are too dark to provide any advantage. |

| I use the 580p sunrise exclusively (I can't be trusted with glass) I only want to use one pair for all light conditions and the low light performance is key for me. I wear them regularly till dark! They perform fine in bright conditions and I've never had a problem with eye fatigue or squinting. |
