I was told by a warden that if you trolling motor is in the water and you have a sucker out, they can ticket you. So much for consistency.

 

It all depends on which Conservation Warden you contact, as to whether you are position fishing, or trolling. I prayed I would get a ticket, just so I could go to court and defend my position fishing. Never happened. the 3 or 4 times I was questioned, I never got a ticket, or even a warning.
