Location: Minnesota | For those who have used this reel what is is best for?I got a good deal on it so i thought i would give it a try.I use a tranx for pounders.i have a trinadad 14 for double ten's and have 6 400te so i have more then i need. just wondering if the 400D is better then the 400 te last year i had one spare so if i bring some one with me and they get a bad back lash i can take the reel off put another reel on and back to fishing.get the back lash out latter then use that as a spare.i have a set up for every bait in my box so what im asking is what would be the baits for this reel. |

| The best baits for the D are those baits that you have confidence in. Ya know the ones that you throw way too much and have all the teeth marks in em. The D also works great with baits that dont catch jack.... I LOVE my TE but i think my D is a more smoother well balenced reel and does everything except take in 40' of line....Cant say its lasted as long as the TE yet but time will tell. Shimano 4 life... |

Location: Minnesota | thanks i had the pike master tune my te's and upgraded my 400D.in june the suick is my go to bait so i think thats the rod ill put it on . |
