| What is the best way to clean an airbrush nozzle? I think I have something blocking the nozzle and not allowing paint or water to spray through. Should I just soak it overnight or is there something small enough that will fit into the nozzle? Thank you for any help.

| I don't use water based paints, but any time that I have build up or blogging, I soak the whole tip section overnight and use that down time to clean the rest of the brush. It's important to clean the tip between color changes and always at the end of a session. Nothing ticks me off more than down time that I could have avoided. |

Location: Money, PA | I have a complete cleaning kit...and the number one tool I use is a small piece of wire or needle which fits just slightly smaller than your tip. Soak it, then just scrape the sides of the inside of the tip with this little piece of wire and you will see the built up tiny pieces of paint inside.....I do this about every 3 or 4 painting cycles.... |

| That air-brush cleaning bottle is cool too. I usually just run about a third of a cup of reducer through the brush and into a rag and then wipe down the brush. Now I can save that reducer and use it over and over again. Thanks for the link. I have a Harbor
Freight right here in town.

| No worries Beav, my pleasure. The stuff is cheap so don't expect quality but at the prices they charge, it's worth it. Check out this link for the pliers

Ever drop you long nose pliers in the lake?? For $2.99, wont be such a big deal. Buy 3 or 4 pairs and always have a backup on the boat! |
