I recently bought a 2060 Osprey tiller with a Yamaha 150. I can get a Yamaha T8 with only a few hours on it for half the price of a new 9.9. I am wondering if the T8 will have enough power to push the Osprey. What could I expect for max speed trolling with the T8?

That motor will do a good job, but won't be blazingly fast, not sure on top end. Somewhere in the 4mph range I'd guess.

Thanks Steve. If I want to go over 4, which is rare, I will just use the 150.
