Posts: 785 | Get a load of this, heading down to hunt 2nd season ran into major flooding, long detours around flooded highways and very cold, windy weather. The other picture is about 5 minutes before I headed down the road for 4th season. Two days of blizzard in May... unreal. Finally the sun came out on Sunday and about an hour later had a 23lb, 2 year old on the ground. I must say it was a relief to have a bird down as this was the roughest collective 5 days of turkey hunting weather I've ever run into. Now I am really curious to see what the next couple months will bring weather wise and how the muskies will respond. Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | Sunday morning at 6:00 AM, I had to stop the truck to wait for 8 toms "strutting their stuff" for two uninterested hens at the entrance to the Pewaukee Lake County Landing! Two weeks ago we never saw a turkey within shooting range, which hasn't happened in over 20 years........No justice......

Posts: 785 | Here's a pic. Of coarse I left out the part about missing one at 45 yards 2nd season and having 3 fanned out and gobbling on Saturday at 30 yards "CLICK" forgot to load my gun. Haha turkey hunting can be tough and this weather makes it really tough but I've been the biggest thing working against myself this season ![]() Attachments ---------------- ![]()
