| I have seen one of these and tried one. They are built pretty good, however, I don't think they are anything special. I wouldn't waste the money on one unless you can get it used cheap. |

| In my opinion, it rides higher in the water than a phantom and its action may be more similar to a hellhound. But if I remember correctly, it did not have the same wide-gliding action or very much belly roll on the twitch or pause. I'm sure they would catch fish, but heck at that price you could buy a phantom, hellhound, and possibly another glider or two! |

| they are a good glider with good action. i would say some where between a phantom and hellhound. they do run a little shallower then a HH and about the same as a 6" phantom but can be worked deeper just like any glider if you let them sink. they are also proven fish catchers. if they weren't they wouldn't be selling for the prices some sell for. i have 4, 2 7" and 2 6" and i never payed over $20 for 1 and i have good perch and smallie patterns. just have to watch and wait. they have better paint and finish then the others mentioned and are hand made. love my HH though. |

| good lures but no better than a hellhound . You're paying for a piece of art not a ski lure. I have a few and they hang on the wall where they belong. My hellhounds hang where they belong-- tackle box, glove box, boat, under truck seat , end of my leader and in a ski's mouth. |

| I want to add my 2 cents on these. I came across this post as I just bought a few more of these lures. They are very good and well built lures. The action is spot on and very consistant from lure to lure. With the latest two I now have 11 total and my buddy has 7. Every lures is basically a one of a kind. The paint jobs are very good and some are very realistic. Sometimes the pics won't show it but in person there's very cool shading and ghost features on the lures. They are my go to lures in numerous situations although I'm afraid to loose any of them. The seller seems very cool and down to earth. I like supporting american business as well. I know he does some custom work too. It can be tricky to get a hold of him but I'm seeing more for sale now probably due to the warmer weather. If you can get one for about $20-$25 it is a steal but I have seem some hit the $50+ mark. They usually go for $25-$35 which is still a good deal considering what you're getting.

| IMO they are a bit to fast sinking for my liking I prefer my gliders to have nearly neutral buoyancy and painfully slow sinking. My favorites include cobb hoosiers and warlocks. I don't fish fast and it works for me |

| True the 6 inchers sink a little faster than the 7 inchers but both are fairly slow. If you mess with hooks and put on some a little lighter in weight I think you could get the near neutral bouyancy. It's funny this was brought up as I was out messing around by the Shelbyville spillway the other day. I was messing with different hooks and trying to get them to a neutral bouyancy. Lighter hooks help with the sink rate but are not really necessary. I came to the conclusion that the hooks that they come with are the best bet for me and my situations. I catch a lot on them so I don't want to run the risk of a hook failure for a slower sink rate. |
