Location: With my son on the water | I know this has been discussed in multiple places but I can't find topic on it?
I am mainly using my Revos to throw large blades. 10 & 8s. I was contemplainting getting a Tranx so I didn't get to concerned about up grading the handles on my Revos. I still might but $400 isn't available right now.
With that said I would like some information on upgrading the handles for the Revo. I believe some guys mentioned a Trindad 10/12 which is a power type handle. I also recall someone mentioned an after market double handle that has a larger throw?
I know where I can find these so I am looking for the Pros and Cons of each and what you guys prefer.

Location: Contrarian Island | I put a TE power handle on my Toro Winch for slow rolling a few yrs ago,,,it's sweet, you can see it pictured on Daves Reel site, I sent it in a few yrs ago for cleaning and he thought it was badazz enough he took a pic and now offers the handle for Toro Winchs..

I also put the stock Tranx handle on my Toro 6.4
you are NEVER going to get the speed and power from a Toro with any handle you put on it as a Tranx but it makes things a bit easier....
If you don't have 400 get a Daiwa Saltist 20....for the money a good reel ....for burning....

| I manufacture the large double paddled power handle. It is 5 inches from paddle to paddle, giving you lots of leverage, more than any handle available, that I am aware of. The silver handled model works on the Revo. The double handle makes it perfectly balanced, so it won't engage on the cast. Paddles are rubber urethane, and the handle is made of anodized 6061 aluminum. All stainless and aluminum hardware, so it won't corrode.
The handles are available from Pikemaster (Pimp My Rod and Reel), Rollie's, Smokey's Muskie Shop, or Mat's Reel Repair.

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Go with a TE power handle over the super cranker. Bearings make a big difference in smoothness and effort. I bought a super cranker at the Chicago show and hated it. |

| Ryan,
I would I ask that you please send the handle back and give me the opportunity to make you happy with the product. I will PM my address. The handles were used extensively last summer, and we sold a good number at Smokey's, with no complaints. I will stand behind my handle and do my best to address any issue you have with it.

Location: Milwaukee, WI | I bought one of Rocko's power handles for my Calcutta 400b last year and now use it almost exclusively. My revo toro has been relegated to a backup.
One note is that the bigger handle does put a bit more "wear and tear" into the reel, so you may want/need to get the reels tuned up a bit more often. Also, make sure you oil it regularly.
