The Lakeside on Lake Tomahawk wasn't bad. The Golden Mast has a good fish fry on Friday night and that is on Okauchee. The other place on Okauchee is good as well, but they keep changing owners so who knows if they are still in business. But you can see bluegills through the floor...

Not a special place in and of itself but if I am on the deck at Greens just South of Nestor Falls I am in my happy place.

Nan's Squaw Creek Inn on one of the Fox River Chain of Lakes- I think Catherine- back in the late 60's early 70's. I wonder if it's still there.

I'll second Green's in Nestor Falls. Now that place is rustic and it's on my favorite lake to Musky fish!

My all time favorite is my boat. That is the best place to have a beer and it's on every lake that I'm fishing on It frequently get's called a bar and it get's tied up to all the time. Naturally in a responsible manner.

I will second Pine Isle on the Three Lakes Chain. A couple of good stops are Holiday Lodge on North Twin and The Lure on Petenwell Flowage.

Dick and Joan's Resort (Big Dick's Halfway Inn) on Butternut Lake (Price County). Great owners, food, and stories.
Harbor View on the Phillips Chain has some decent food and outstanding scenery.

When I met my wife she was part of the "scenery" there. Duane is still peed at me for poaching his waitress.

Fished the Chip with Tanner Wildes for a number of years. Taking a break at Treelands, good food and graet people.

I can't believe nobody mentioned Alpine Inn west of Rhinelander. Awesome burgers, hand cut fries and cheap!

Oh and Pitlicks on the Sugar Camp chain doesn't suck either.
