| I can't take it anymore.
How do you post a picture and have it show up in the body of the message? I know you can reference another address to get a picture, though I don't know how to do it.
But Jason, your pictures are added I assume just like the rest of us. Then also embeded in the text.
Could you give a detailed explanation of how you do this.

Lets see if this works. The little girl on Oneidas lap is my daughter the boy is my son and the older girl is Johns daughter. Talk about a fun day John and I each caught a fish and my son had is first follow and lost his first musky.
Thanks

| Ha! Exactly my point, MR. Jason was gonna send me the how-to on this, but I think my recent references to his Arbies affliction has turned him off to that.[] |

|
| I will email you later MR and make sure you are on track. Pics sometimes dont load even for me, so you have to try it again. Dont worry, I clean up the mess on the threads. If the site is busy...its harder to attach pics I have found. MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH BEFORE YOU WRITE ANYTHING AT ALL. That makes a big difference. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO QUOTES IN THE ATTACHMENT ALSO.
I did see you tried to attach a pic on the Pro board. I found it impossible with the moderation to attach pics there...fyi.

| Jason, I have figured out how to attach a pic and have it downloadable upon clicking on it, but I want to be able to attach them so they show up in the text body like all yours seem to do.
I hate the extra steps it takes to see those pictures. I always make sure the pictures I post to message boards are small, but I just can't figure this one out.

| you have to use the UBB code-
"Adding images is permitted. Use the following code:"
[ img ]URL to the image[ / img ]
so the image has to be uploaded onto a hosting site (i.e. - geocities.com, etc.) and then you have to copy and paste it's URL into your message in between the codes-
for example - "http://muskie.com/pic.jpg" is the URL to your image (right click your pic and look at its properties to get your URL)
and then surround the URL (aka the "link") with the codes-
[ img ] is the front code and
[ / img ] is the back code-
so in your post, it would look like-
[ img ]http://muskie.com/pic.jpg[ / img ]
(***but with no spaces!! i had to include the spaces to show you***)

|
| here is an actual example- sorry for the long URL (the host site is groups.msn.com- they use long URL addresses for some reason) i got that address by right clicking the image and copying the properties (the image is from my personal site)
here is what you copy into your post (with the spaces in order to show you)
[ img ]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TgDfAiYYO8ZCN8nhEAidil6AtnSogUj*YmWg9N!q0JVd6zGIIn60hiE6o0jl9cOWyF0oLY*9jK23jI9KBtPn7iuNLquJWn5kRkqnzyJ!X2XOTTU5PNMB9w/ottawa36a.jpg?dc=4675385036035161225 [ / img ]
and here is what it shows without the spaces-

if you right click and look at the properties of that pic- it is exactly what i copied in between the UBB codes...
hope this helps (i tried to explain it as clearly as possible!)
