| I am going to get an Aqua View for my downrigger and a good hand held GPS.
Any handheld GPS units out there you guys like by the way? |

|
| I need, of course, two new bilge pumps. Rod holders are next, then we need to talk electronics! I'd like a Bottomline depth finder but I think first I'll focus on a Garmin GPS with a Hotspot map for LOTW! Any suggestions on model? m |

| Jason, i like the garmin 76S[:praise:] |

| Not really Muskie related, but I'd really like to outfit the Esox Angler SS with a couple downriggers and rod holders on a removable board for Lake Michigan salmon fishing. Only reason I want to do this is Jason said that he, Bill Schwartz, and The Extreme One need more company out there!
Jason, checkout the WalleyeFirst classifieds. There is a Garmin 76 Map for sale. I've heard good things about it. I personally have a GlobalMap 100, with a selection of HotSpot maps. I like it alot. Got it mounted on the wheeler for the winter. |

| Jason,
The Garmin unit I saw was Bill's, in the MF classifieds. Ah.....It's already sold. I might be persuaded to sell my GM100, with maps. I just realized I can use my new HotSpots MMC's for the X-15 in an iFinder. Next time we go IceFishingFirst, I'll make sure it's on the wheeler. |

| Not enough $$$ to go around this year but the next major new toy will be a 225 HP four stroke. Maybe in 2004. Have heard some great things about Honda's big 4 stroker. They have been running it for two years now in the prototype model. I have yet to see on but am looking forward to the day when we can al run the 4 strokes instaed of the 2 bangers. |

| New toy this year will be my new Lowrance finder that I have needed desperately at the bow!
Next year - If all goes well (damn economy), a newer, bigger rig!!!! |
|
|
|
| A new Lowrance X65 in the rear for my wife to watch as she fishes along with me, and an in-dash digital temp guage on the console.
Then, it's a larger casting deck in the rear.
Lot's to do before Season opener.

| I need some new rod holders first of all. Plastic doesn't do me a bit of good. I need some good down easters. Also, I sorta need a bilge pump incase something happens. Lastly, I hope to get a new finder. Probobly a garmin 160. |

|
| Hopefully, it will be a new bow mount trolling motor. 36# pulls the boat fine in calm conditions, but doesn't cut it in the wind. I will be looking for 65# or 74#.

| My new boat is my new toy. A 94 Tracker Magna 19. Love this thing. Belonged to a striper nut. Can't wait to REALLY use it. Time, time, time. I just need to make time. Good luck to all IN musky Chasers. Happy New Year to all!

| I will be installing my new Lowrance X-85 and a new bilge pump as well. |
|

|
| A bowmount trolling motor, MinnKota, probably 74lb. Maybe the Genesis. Need a finder up front, too, maybe the X71... |

| Jason,
I got the Garmin Map 76S. So far so good. I bought the Mapsource waterways and lights for 50.00 and it has every lake that I fish on it. My 3 favorite lakes that I fish are all on one area and only takes 30 seconds to download. The barometric pressure scale may come in handy as well. It's on a graph that tells the trends also. I found the best deal at Amazon for 350.00. |

| I'm going to get an AM/FM CD player so I can jam while I'm throwing wood to the 'skis. Makes it easier when I'm fishing alone.[] |
