Posts: 309 Location: Elgin IL | I bought a Supernatural and used it this last fall and it did put some nice fish in the boat. This lure did spend a lot of time bangin rocks and held up well. Never have used a crankbait with a aluminum lip...Do you keep grinding the lip smooth or leave it alone? Attachments ---------------- supernatural00_1_2_1.JPG (68KB - 166 downloads)

Posts: 58 | holy smokes looks like you darn near got that lip wore down to the shallow line tie setting. i would be worried about the lip geting weak at the pin and pulling through the lip. might need to run on the mid depth setting

Posts: 432 Location: mpls | I can tell you -definitely leave it alone. I have some that I have ground all the way down to the first tie. I just moved the pin one hole and they work great. If you shave the lip down , you are risking losing the "magic" Joe [email protected] I call Duff in the morning and let him know about the post

Chics dig scars so I'm leaving it alone....

Posts: 688 Location: Northern IL | If you mess with it and it then no longer runs straight, what will you have gained but a lure for the junk pile. Use it till ya loose it! Q) How big are these lures and how deep do they run on mono?
