| This will be my first show. I intend to buy shtuff. Are exhibitors equipped to take payment via a card or do I need to bring cash? I'm sure it depends on the exhibitor. But it would be nice to know if it is mostly, or even preferred, cash transactions. |

Location: Hayward, WI | The bigger name booths like Thornes and Dicks usually take cards, but individual bait maker's booths are cash only deals. I'd make sure you have as much cash as you are wiling to spend! |

Location: Central Minnesota | Bring only how much cash you are willing to spend. These things can get dangerous. But at the same time it is a great way to meet pros in the field and get some really great deals. One thing to consider in your spending is don't forget the organizations that do so much for musky fishing ( muskies inc, Minnesota Muskie and pike alliance). It's gratiftying to bring home a bunch of baits, but these organizations need our funding to keep our sport alive. Ps I am in no way a spokes person for these organizations but it is important to support the cause. Have fun at your first show |

Location: Land of the Musky | I know at the Madison, Wausau and Milwaukee show I saw almost everyone with a smart phone card reader. We have one and it worked great. Takes all cards including debit cards. I would guess that about 90%+ of the booths had credit card readers. Take cash if you can though. Makes checking out on a busy day easier. Use the CC for the big stuff.
Enjoy the MN show, sounds like it will be a great one this year. I know Paul was doing a kids day again on Sunday. Paint your own musky lures for the kids. Wish I still lived in Waconia...
