For the past 2 weeks, me daggone life has been altered to such a degree that I must vent; and all because of a liver/white semi rodent...let me introduce the HAMSTER....
This little creature sleeps all day, and parties all night...Spongette asks me tonight the origin of the little biting noisemaker; easy I said, part pig, part steer, hence the name "hamster". Funny, he only bites me, not little sponge nor her....[:(]
My question is:
What did hamsters do before they invented the wheel????[::)]

Gooder one Jim! Had I known Al Gore invented the internet, I would have never been a participant!!! The other sponges would throw me out if I suggested using "Pipsqeak" for bait...the daggone wheel it spends most of it's waking moments in(at Night) whirs loudly, not to mention the noise the plastic ball makes they put her in as she rolls all over the house. My original intentions were to have others give deep thought as to other inventions etc., and I can visualize this post going to the bottom of board, where it should have ALREADY been placed! [:0]

Hamsters were meant to reside in the fields and woodlands of the world with the expressed purpose of feeding hawks. Get the thing a shock collar that turns on at 10PM and off at 7 AM, and shocks the bejeebers out of the critter if it moves.

Mr. Worrall, you are a genius!
When you get your patent make sure it comes in a size big enough to fit on a Stupid CAT 24 hours a day!
Oh, I'm sorry, using the the words "stupid" and "cat" in the same sentence is redundant![] I have lead jig heads that are smarter than my wife's cat!

During times of domestication the Hamster, first cousin to its northern counterpart, the Lemming, were put in wheels to prevent them from running over to the coast, jumping off cliffs, and plummiting into the sea.

This concept gave birth to the idea for what is now known as the "self cleaning oven"

Mr. Sleep Deficient Spongemeister, cut two bars from the side of the cage, bend them apart and declare a jailbreak!
Of course that would leave you in danger of the family getting a replacement "rat".
Another option would be to set a TV next to the cage at night showing nothing but the Home Shopping Channel on it.
That would put anyone or anything to sleep![]

Mess with it's clock. Keep it in the dark during the day and keep a light on at nite. If you can't beat um, fool um!

Yet another great idea spawned by the water logger!
A squirrel cage powered "white noise generator"
Once placed inside, the little rodent works like hell only to cancel himself out.
So what does all this jibber have to do with fishing? Sometimes it pays not to think in the "box".

Sponge!

I talked to my wife and she said in College her roomate had a stupid Hamster. But they left it a "lighted" closet at night and messed up his whole nocternal behavior. It worked he was quiet at night and calm during the day.

Just an idea.

Otherwise, bring it to the Cave and quick strike rig it.[]

Excellent ideas dudes! I'll try the time clock screw up ideas first...could give it a swimming lesson, but then that would lead to another whole set of probs...[:0]
