Posts: 2269 Location: SE, WI. | My 3 favorite are; Muskie train 9" high rail twitch and MF shad. Slammer plastic, good hang time. M-9 old grandma, great roll !!! Used cranes in the past , but, one 38"er, wire blows out, and done.

Posts: 300 | I love Crane Baits! My wife and I have don very well on them. We have so great custom colors that have a very durable finish on them. A few of them have multiple fish with VERY little evidence that anything ever touched them.

Location: Not far enough north! | 10" Jakes are my favorite bigger bait Little Claws, by Kingfisher for smaller profile. (Wanna talk about 180's and hang time, these are the best!)

Don't let other anglers lack of ability to run baits scare you off from trying them, lots of great options mentioned here. BR

your right there are many and they all work.. cranes--big games--talonz are very good baits but here are a few that haven't been mention that are very well built and catch fish.. rj lures and the 10" twitchin smity.. hoosiers handmade makes some real nice twitch baits and the 10" and 14" trueglide twitches are unreal..

Posts: 134 | Slammers all the way. As far as tech. twitch, twitch, 1/4 pause, twitch. Repeat all the way to the boat. Steve, Jim, and Craig will swear to this technique.

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | We nearly have a "5/16" pause almost perfected. We should be ready to release the perfected technique by Wisconsin's opening day!
