| I have one on my x190, I used the transom bracket to mount, and would not do that again. I would recommend using the mount that goes between the outboard and transom unless you have really good interior access to the back of the transom. So far it has worked out good for me, I fish a river system that is less then 10' deep most of the time so I use it a good bit. I also really like using it at the ramp when im fishing solo. I have the quick release nuts so I can take it off if im fishing a deeper water lake, or before I back it into the garage(learned that lesson the hard way). Overall I would recommend it if you fish water less then 10' most of the time but if your usually deeper then that it is pretty much useless. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | I definately recommend the bracket mount. I have a PP, and I use it for far more than just shallow water anchoring; and actuall anchoring has become a smaller part of how I use it, but this is a Talon discussion, so I digress. |

Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | Have been using Talon couple years...only complaint is the noise it makes when it grinds that fiberglass point into a rocky bottom. Otherwise love it! |
