Larry "the mad scientist" Dahlberg will be doing a demostration of a very easy (and cool) new way to add custom coloring and details to soft plastic baits. I'll be helping with the "Show and Tell as well. Come out, talk muskies and learn some cool stuff from a legend of the sport. March 11th, 7 PM at Thorne Bros

Hey Bob, Didn't get to thank you. The kids and I had a great time that stuff is cool. We thanked Larry at the end but didn't get to see you at the end. Thanks for putting up the notice or we wouldn't have known. Looking forward to the next one worth the drive anytime to have access to that kind of knowledge. Russ and family

I agree about the kids. What better way to be involved with fishing when they can't be on the water.
It was a great learning experience for me as well.
It's easy for those of us to are totally into it to get lost in the goop quest and forget about the fundamentals, and what it was like to take the very first steps into something brand new.
I've got some ideas for the next one in terms of structure, and everybody walking out with something they made, that they cannot buy anywhere, and that they will catch fish on when little else or nothing works.
Hey T, can you guess?

It was a great turnout on such short notice! Thanks to Bob for getting the word out on the message boards and for Larry for coming over and showing this new product. Great seeing all the people--especially the women and kids that came with! The AlumiDust by Alumilite is on our website under the Musky section in Lure Repair. This is a pretty cool new system for coloring soft plastic baits. I am downloading the video now and it will be up in this section when it is done.

We already had the seminar schedule out this year so we couldn't do it this winter, but next winter we will be replacing a number of our in-store seminars with hands-on workshops to help pass the Cabin Fever! Looking forward to see what Larry comes up with next!!!
