Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | Well, I went down to the river to test some baits this afternoon and when I was done, I took out the new shad. After a little bit of tweaking and on my second cast out into the river, this narly ski grabbed it! I was stoked!!!

| The bait looks great. Congrats on the fish. That mouth is all jacked up, someone abused that fish before. | |||

Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | Yeah, it was pretty well healed over...Thats a river fish, so who knows how it got THAT jacked up, could be bumping rocks or ice out as well....Its also interesting how its whole lip all the way around grew really thick...All I can think is that it's system overcompensated for that area of the fishs' body in healing after the injury. Just goes to show how resilliant these things really are....I never removed the fish from the waters edge and it swam away just fine.....my estimation is the it was in the high 30's | ||
