Can we get an ice report from down south with all this cold weather moving through?

SLAMR,

Just got laid off. If you want to head south let me know, we can take the new boat.

Both the lake and spillway at Shelbyville are iced up.

I spoke with Al Nutty at a local show here in central Il. last Sunday and he said Kinkaid might be closed with the colder weather but I haven't confirmed this info.

Haven't been to the Cave since November, but I live In Louisville, and went duck hunting on the Ohio River on Sunday and the ice from shore went out about 6 or 7 feet. Still no problem putting the boat in as the fast current of the river keeps the ice thin. I'd say about 2 inches thick. Some pretty large chunks floating around but thats not a concern at the Cave. I'd have to believe that there's ice on the Cave. Spose to be 50 degrees here Sunday!
