Don't fish this tour myself, but I know that every single year when I attend the Chicago Show, they have a booth right where you wait in line to get your ticket for admission, and they always have a printed copy of their schedule!

The 2013 Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail promises to be the best yet...
The season starts with the IMTT Spring Classic Tournament March 9-10 on Lake Kinkaid.
Next up is the IMTT Spring Lake North Tournament March 16-17.
The IMTT Jake Wolf Memorial Tournament is on the Fox Chain April 13.
The Shawnee Muskie Hunter's Spring Fling Tournament on Kinkaid is May 4 & 5.
On May 18 you'll have to make a choice - either the Fox River Valley Spring Challunge Tournament on Fox Chain, or the Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club Spring Tournament at Shelbyville.
The Trail takes a break in June, July and August while our water is warm - go chase 'em up North!
We resume the Trail in September with the IMTT Prairie Lake Tournament at Panther Creek State Park on September 7.
On September 21 the Shelbyville club holds its Fall Tournament on Lake Shelbyville.
September 28 we have a new event - the Quad County Hawg Hunters join the Trail with the Lake Evergreen Tournament.
You've got to make another decision in early October - the FRV Fall Challunge on the Fox Chain on October 5, or the two-day IMTT Fall Classic Tournament on Lake Shelbyville October 5 & 6.
October 19 & 20, we're at Kinkaid Lake for the Shawnee Muskie Hunter's Fall Brawl Tournament.
And on November 9 & 10, the Trail culminates with the IMTT State Championship Tournament at Kinkaid.

For more information on all IMTT events and activities, check the website - illmuskie.com

Last, there is still time to get in on a great opportunity - the IMTT is having a free drawing for a new St. Croix rod and an Ambassador Revo Toro for all members that pay their 2013 dues by January 31.

We look forward to seeing you on the 2013 Trail!

If anyone is looking for a partner I would be ecstatic to join up with someone. I do not have a boat

The IMTT's new website has a "Partner Finder" feature. Post your interest in the Partner Finder section and I bet you'll find a partner! If you don't have any luck with that, PM me and I'll try to help you. New IMTT website URL: illmuskie.com

The IMTT Spring Classic on Kinkaid Lake is only 6 days away! For those of you who have been "sitting on the fence" waiting to see what the weather will be, the Saturday and Sunday forecast for Kinkaid is a high of 62! The Spring Classic may be your best chance to land an Illinois 50" - the big gals come up shallow pre-spawn. IMTT is again offering a special $10,000 cash prize for the largest muskie - 50" or greater - caught in an IMTT event. We came darn close last year when a Spring Classic entrant caught a 49". While registration is allowed up through Friday evening, if you're planning on fishing and have not yet registered, please email Tournament Director Walt Krause ( [email protected] ) and let Walt know so we have an accurate count for the banquet.

I don't think the partner finder is working correctly on the imtt site. Let me know if anyone else can get it to work.

Was going to make it to this one but the wife has to work all weekend. How is the fishing at spring lake? Considering breaking out the old tin boat with the 20hp on it and trying to make it to that one.

The problem is now fixed.  Thanks for the heads up!

It is an action bite consisting mostly of 30"ish muskies with some larger ones mixed in.  Very shallow.

If anyone would like to go to kinkaid this weekend I would be more than happy to take someone. I have the boat hotel and entry fee all taken care of. All you have to do is be an IMTT member. I live in Terre Haute IN 47805. Please PM if you are interested
Thanks
Daniel
