Alan,

The 40" size limit is only on buckhorn lake in KY. It was designed to make that lake a trophy lake. There are some big fish in Buckhorn, but not many. It doesnt get nearly the stocking that Cave and Green get. thankfully it is a tough lake to get to, so there isnt to much nonlocal pressure on itthere is some local opposition on it, but i dont think its going to be changed. Chris Haley and Dr. Gene Smith found a way to get this done.

From the rumor mill in KY, there is a good shot that green river will get a 36", but it will be tough to change Caves. the reasoning on cave is there are to many personalities trying to control politics with the local DNR.
