I was hoping someone could point me in the directon of were to start on this body of water. A few of us are heading here for the first weekend in June. This is our first time fishing these waters and we are staying up the flowage some near Musky Bay. I'm not looking for GPS coordinates, unless your willing ha, but just a good starting point and maybe some pointers. This is a lot of water and we only have a couple of days. I would like to get my dad to boat a fish as he hasn't in well over 7 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Stop by the house and I'll mark a map up for you, main lake area. I'm 6 minutes out of town.

Steve, I may have to take you up on that. It would be greatly appreciated. We are heading up May 30th. I will get in touch prior to then and see if you will be around. That or I have printed a map of the lake on a 24x36 that I could mail you ahead of time if that would be easier. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks again.

Stop at Rollie and Helen's Musky Shop and its not far from the lake! If I fish there then I would use bucktail around the lake to get know the lake then next or 2 days later would fish few prime spots.

no fish in that lake ...

fish the river channel especially the areas where it turns, on the main lake there are a number of cribs, humps and an old road-bed you can map and fish, a couple weed points and a nice cabbage line as you head toward the W bridge. that time of year there is usually a good topwater bite going. boom can be very good and can also hand you your hiney. you will probably see me out there if you're there in june.

Jonny, thanks for the info. A question if you dont mind. We are staying up the flowage some near musky bay. I have been told there is good fishing in that bay and the bay across from it. What are your thoughts of the fishing up that way?
