I do.

The Kahuna allows for netting big fish under tough conditions offering a larger target area to get her in the bag. As stated, best one has both hands on that net, she's a big girl.

I have a Beckman Magnum Finsaver and wish I had a Frabill instead. I picked up a new net for pike and it was a Frabill this past season. Don't get me wrong my Beckman is light and has a huge bag that has done me well but after using a buddy's Frabill this past season the yoke locking mechanism is way nicer and doesn't need to be lined up like the Beckman, the handle just slides right out and locks in also the net material is way nicer to deal with hooks and the fish when compared to a fish rolled up with hooks caught in my Beckman net.

The big kahuna is way too big and a waste of space in the water and boat. It's extremely hard to move through the water and allows a lot of unnecessary bag to be in the way. I suggest a frabill that is a little smaller and rubber coated for east hook and fish removal. The standard size will be able to fit any size fish you catch with ease.

muskyadamovich,
We use the Big Kahuna and really like the net. Alone I use a Big Game, Guiding or League, the Kahuna. I have no problems using the net at all.

So....

+1

And not that the Big Game isn't a big net...plenty of 50" fish in my Big Game.

It's a personal preference on net size, but from multiple experiences it is a vey difficult net to move through the water. Just no real need for it. I bought one from a guide that said it was too big. In my opinion he was right. It is way more important to have maneuverability in and especially out of that fishes way if she makes a run at boat side. This is just my opinion of what net is a better overall choice when all issues are considered. Big game will never come out of my boat

I was overjoyed to have a big kahuna in the boat this fall - some fish fill it!

I had a Beckman, but switched to the Frabill Power Catch this season and am really glad I made the change. Beckman was a fine product, but the Frabill is just better. Deeper bag, much easier to deploy, easy to use when solo, etc.

When fishing with 2 people I use the Frabill Big Kahuna. If I'm solo I used the Frabill 9530 conservation series net. Love them both. I don't feel the Kahuna is too large but that's just my opinion.
