All this and still getting my customs out. This is why I use lacquer. About 172 pcs curing up.

I have used spray on lacquer for bass lures but have not tried it on musky baits. Are you dipping or brushing them Stan?

Hey Jedd,
Everything is airbrushed. I use all siphon feed brushes as i can use two and three oz. bottles.
I use a two part auto poly clear and it is sprayed also..
No dipping here.

Ok thanks, I misunderstood you, sounds like you are using lacquer based paints.

Happy New Year!

Yes it does!  When I whored those Molly blanks out during that sale I likely hurt sales of finished baits.  I do see some nice ones on your rack though!  You can expect an order for MDR Choppers in a couple of months.

Way t go Stan. Lacquer is the only way to go. No waiting around for the paint to dry. I have to talk to you about that clear. I used a 2 part automotive clear and ruined 2 brushes in the process, but spraying cranks is the way to go, no extra weight.

Hey Beav, I have yet to find time to answer your email but and will email to you later this evening. Taking a break from clear coating. I will explain how I use it. ( two part auto poly.)

Per Stan’s advice on the auto clear I use a single action external mix siphon feed.  It’s a dedicated brush for 2k clear only.  He’s a Badger man, but I love my classic Paasche H.  If you don’t get some lacquer thinner sprayed through in time to clean it out a replacement tip is only about 5 bucks.

Ps. You absolutely need a spray booth to be doing this
