I am looking for a LOTW resort, preferably in the Sabaskong Bay area, that has things for young children. I am looking for a sandy beach and hopefully a playground or activities that 3 and 4 year olds would enjoy. Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you 100% stuck on LOTW? N.Minn does a much better job at kids activities/ total "family experience" - IMO. Check out: www.mantraplodge.com or www.pehrsonlodge.com - All of our family loves these two places my young nieces and nephews have a blast! Mantrap Lodge even has a nice pool area ...both have daily kids activities and both are on great muskie lakes.

I go to Mantrap Lodge every year, and love the place. Owners are great, and my kids make new friends every year, and so do we. The Lake is great, and you can always find some place out of the wind for panfish, bass, northerns, or Muskies.

Im not sure the place is still open as I cannot find the website but Canadian Haven Resort in Nestor Falls has a small beach and an area set up with kids stuff...it certainly isn't Disneyworld but might be closer to what you are looking for.

I stayed here when I was a pup, they have a beach, tennis court, mini golf, playground, and b-ball court. I remember having a very good time there.
