| T'was da night before Christmas here on the board....
Not a creature was sturring not even Zach's Intellimouse....
Our Stockings were hung by the chimney with care....
In hopes that new "ERC's" would soon fill them there...
The muskies were tucked all snug in their weed-bed....
As visions of barbless hooks, danced in their head.....
Now my wife in her teddy and me in my Muskiefirst cap had just settled in for some egg-nog and a nap....
When out on the pond there arose such a clatter, I flew from the recliner to see what was the matter....
Away to the window I ran like a flash, landed on my butt as I tripped over da cat....
And what to my wondering eyes did appear...but Santa in a Patriot...with a 225 Opti on the rear.....
Then all of a sudden the house starts to shutter....
He jumped on the roof and tore off my rain gutter...
And down through da chimney he started to throw...
Musky baits galore for the fisherman below....
Tinsel Tails, Hawgseekers,Slammers and Undertakers too....
And a funny named bucktail called the Rubberhairy in the color blue.....
Then he closed up his sack, down the roof he did slide.....
I had to watch him leave so I run fast outside....
Down at the lake by the outhouse,. in da bushes I hide...
And what do I see as I look through da trees.....
That Patriots standing on end as he starts to leave....
Now that many horses is sure tough to tame, but they began to settle down when he called them by name....
Now Shep, Ranger, Mikie and Muskyone too, quit goofing around we've got more work to do....
A beuty on plane, that boat sure did fly when all of a sudden it was up the sky.....
Head over to Minocqua and then take a right....
Our little friend Ashton will get a visit tonite....
Then I heard him exclaim as he pulled out of site....
Merry Christmas boys, and to your delight, Sponge will be back in just 7 more nights...
