Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

.92 stainless magnum 1 1/8 to 2" depending on the size bait. I use lure parts online. Make sure you epoxy them in.

I use 1-7/16" long 0.92" from Moores Lures for most of my stuff. I have used 0.72 for some smaller stuff but 99.99% are the magnum size. Dick is a great guy to deal with.

I have found that 1" 092 screw eyes will not come out if you epoxy them in. With that said, they just look short! I always use 1.5"-2" 092 screw eyes just to over engineer things...But I think 1" or better is fine as long as you use epoxy to secure them in.

Targa01 has it correct!! Dick Moore is the guy to get small quantities from. He will set you up.

If you want large quantities you can go to a company called HEB. 1000 min. orders with them and they are back in the stone age so you have to call in or FAX your order to them.

Lure Parts Online and Moore's are the only place I know of...Lure parts are $1.71 per 10 (9 or more packs) and Moore's are $2.30 per ten (discounted 15% with min. 500 ct. order) Per 500 - Lure Parts is $85.50 and Moore's is $97.75.....Beyond that, the choice is yours.

I imagine HEB is the manufacturer and these other companies buy from them direct?? Do you know their pricing James? Their website doesn't give much info. Thanks.

Well I just contacted HEB and if anyone orders in larger quatities, they are probably the way to go....Heres the pricing FYI

And James, you are correct, they ARE old school...They won't take orders over the phone or online...you must fax or snail mail in your order, they send you an invoice and you have to pay via certified check, then they send out your order! ODD these days! I bet they lose quite a bit of business due to lack of convenience.

Per 1000 ct.

Moore's - $195.50 + shipping
Lure Parts - $171.00 + shipping
HEB - $125 + shipping
