Location: Madison, WI | I am in the process of renewing/changing my roadside assistance membership with AAA Wisconsin. I found out they have no membership types that cover a boat trailer (extraction, tire service, and towing). It sounds like Minnesota and Iowa people can get coverage for their boat trailers through AAA.
What programs have people dealt with that cover car, tow vehicle, and boat trailer? And, any good/bad experiences or recommendations?
Thanks.

| Boat US has one. I had it for a few years when I was pulling a bay boat to the Fl. Keys and back. I never did need their service so I can't comment on the service. |

| I got rid of AAA 25 years ago, when they refused to change a flat tire on MY truck, at MY house, when I had left for work in the wife's car, and she was there with my AAA card. She called me and told me, and then I called them and cancelled my membership. My brother had AAA for nearly 40 years, rarely used it. Last month in IL, he had a flat on his trailer behind his RV. They refused to fix it, and he then cancelled it. Note: He had RV Plus for the last two years when he bought his Madden Cruiser.
My Geico boat insurance has roadside assistance that covers the trailer. My F150 has coverage from Ford and my Geico auto policy.

| I have a AAA Plus RV card that is suppose to tow the boat trailer & provide assistance if there is a problem. 25 year member and only used them a few times but was happy I had the membership when I needed them. I have never had to use the RV Plus. when I get a flat "up north" I don't feel like waiting around for a guy to change the tire on the trailer. I have had so many I can gitter done in about 15 minutes. |
