Was out trolling on Lake St.Clair last week and was able to get my two personal best in the same day. 51 1/4" and 51 1/2". Both were landed on baits by woodieb8. One was on a 9" straight Georgie and then the other on a jointed 6 1/4" Thanks for the great baits George. Best day I had Muskie fishing to date.

I wish I had a girth measurement on the 51 1/4. Any guesses?

Aaron

I'd guess 21-22" girth. 24" girth is HUGE in my opinion.

I would also say around 22", takes a HUGE fish to get to a 24" girth

I caught a 48" that had a 23.5" girth so it's certainly possible to be girthier than that. Just depends on how fat the belly is. Both look pretty fat so 24" or slightly more is reasonable.

Yes sir! Had a few more in the boat today! Over my dead body! The perch 9" bait has many battle scars on it now :D

Saw you out there yesterday. Were you out again today (we weren't)? Saw/heard some reports of more fish today, a few of them were a good size.

I'd guess 21-22" girth. 24" girth is HUGE in my opinion.

x2 21-22 is an average girth for that length after taking many measurements on fish about that size. I've had many disappointed people in my boat when I call out 20,21, or 22. Probably because of what they see and read on the Internet, in my opinion most people don't measure, they just guess. Those look like average girth fish to me. Very nice and an excellent day for sure!

I was working the one area pretty hard and didn't really move from it. The bite was light but at least there was a bite in the area since we didn't have any elsewhere. We ended up going 3 for 5 Saturday but I hear Sunday was a bit better of a day. I wish I was able to go out but had some family stuff to do. I am hoping to fish at least a couple days this weekend if weather permits.

WOW! Not one, but TWO bruisers on the same day? Congrats, for you are blessed my friend!

I've some fellowship with you there as I, too have captured my personal best from LSC, (for now)! And I would wager to say that there are more "personal bests" from that water for more anglers than just about anywhere else in North America.

Spectacular LSC, (and nowadays pretty insightful anglers which know it and follow CPR) Thanks, EVERYONE!

First fish is between 21 an22 and second fish is 19.5 to 20.5 if you are measuring the fish in the net with a correct tape these I believe will be very close to your actual girth measurements.
