Just curious...anyone on this board ever fish on Yellow Lake in Webster WI with (Former) guide Lyle Carlson? Fished with him twice and never caught a fish. He's no longer a guide and died several years ago. He tied 'Muskie Buck' Bucktails which were quite large, had several blades, and used them exclusively. Anyone have any of these?

I remember his bait store on the west side of Hwy 35. Just outside of Webster. And his bucktails are still being used by a couple of friends of mine. Not all day, but they would throw it just for old time sakes. They used to fish with Musky Buck!

I got one, all orange. Shoot that bait has to be 18 years old or older. I remember it was made of thicker wire. Never fished with him but would always stop in his shop and talk. Also he made some nice leaders too.
