I was just looking at the skeeter boat center web page. they have a 2013 mx 2025 with a 300 yamaha on it bet that thing moves.then i seen they have a 2013 mx 1825 with a 200 4 stroke on it.what did the do different on the 2013's ? i have a 2012 if i wanted a 200 i had to get it with a hpdi .

they didn't change anything, the boat is rated for 200hp regardless of type.
that said, they were "guiding" people away from the F200 and towards the HPDI because of weight: 608lbs vs 475lbs. with more testing, they seem more comfortable putting the four-stroke on back. i wonder how much longer the HPDI motors will even be made?

thats what i wanted but they told me it was to hevy i like my 150 but i would have bought the 200
