Was at thornes the other day and saw a different style pounder dussa. It had bulging eyes instead of inserts, a wider body and a seemingly softer rubber. The guy told me they just got them in. Anybody know anything about this? I figured I'd buy one

I know when i has some customs made recently Jason told that eyes were new. Not sure if they are wider. They do look cool.

They are new "made in the USA" monster dussas! Awesome action. Less roll. Great new colors. And, most importantly, they catch fish! We used them this fall and boated numerous fish.

Ben, you gotta stop lying!

They do run a lot better but I was never opposed to the older models.

Are Medussas and Bull Dawgs made in the same place now? The eyes on the new Medussas look like the eyes on the latest Bull Dawgs, and it seems they're both made in the USA now.

Thanks Ben, thats what I wanted to know. Now upon inspection, I see that its a little defective! The hook eyelets are skewed pretty heavily to one side. Too bad Thorne's is 180 miles south of me cause I wanna take it back. Gonna have to get a replacement one way or another....

At times like when they roll a little (personal preference).

The new hand poured medussa's catch fish...but the durability is nowhere close to the china made models with the stick-on eyes. I hope Jason continues to make both.
