I purchased a boat with an Elite 5, I currently have an Eagle GPS that is about 5 years old.
I am wondering if the elite 5 will update faster with the map chip than the Eagle does?
Reason is I have a map chip for the eagle not the elite, dont want to spend the money on a new chip if not needed.
If not, then I will just use the elite for the graph and the eagle for GPS.

He means screen lag of boat position versus the lake map. The LOTW chip must have more data vs my MN chip and was noticeably slower on my GlobalMap between the two. Haven't tried the LOTW on my Elite either. Curious to see what people say.
