Just got hold of a Tranx, hate the handle. what are my options to go to a more conventuioal handle with a counter balance? Thanx for any replies.

I put a LJV handle on mine and get more leverage . I don't think you need a counter balance as I have never had the reel engage on a cast. But that's just my opinion.
Dave's Reel Service has some options for you as far as counter balanced handles.

have you used it? give it a few hours...imo the tranx and 16NA handles are some of the most comfortable and powerful out there.... i put a 16na handle on my tranx ..it is awesome
i then put the stock tranx handle on a Revo Toro 6.4 to 1....sweeeet reel w that handle.

Hi I also put a LJV handle on my Tranx Reel. I sold my handle to my saltwater fishing neighbor it fit his big reel perfectly. He is looking for another and asked me to keep an eye open for a second one. If you are selling it he will take it. I will use my pay Pal for him. Thanx JB just email me at [email protected]
