I just received this from a VERY GOOD friend in Wisconsin. From: Shelley Hoffman Rahlf Just saw on here that Rollie from Rollie & Helen's just died. No details yet. Has anyone heard anything more. For those who don't know... Rollie and Hellen founded "Rollie and Helen's, built a GREAT business that has continued under different ownership for quite a while... GREAT STORE, GREATER PEOPLE because of Rollie and Hellen's dream.

Posts: 257 Location: Madison, WI | Yeah, I saw that too on Bob M's facebook page. There were 20 plus comments, although nobody could confirm. Then Bob posted and said it happened Friday. I was unable to find an online obit to confirm though. Sad if true. I remember fishing with his son in 1999 when I lived in Minocqua for a summer. Rollie marked a map for us and sent us out to a local lake with some specific instructions on how to fish it. We ended up catching a 35 and 48 in about 4 hours of fishing. I remember being very impressed by his local knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. Struck me as being an all around good guy. "Jackpot" John Schroeder

Posts: 1660 Location: central Wisconsin | It makes me sad to think that he has passed. I ran into him on the lake back when back trolling was legal. Nice guy to talk to in and out of his shop. Prayers for his family.
