Many times a product will be recalled or not released to the stores because of a needed update. Most 'refurbished' products have never sold. If the product is used, the advertising must list it as such!

I am currently typing this on a refurbished system by Sony, a Vaio. Love it, and it was really RIGHT in the price dept.

TM thanks for the info. I bought one off thesite and it is an awsome camera. Works just great. One question I have for you though. How is yours on batteries? Mine seemed to go through the first set rather quickly. Could be that I took like a million pictures. I for one think this was a great bargain for $129.95. Thanks a gain for the tip.[]

TM, I also bought this camera on your recommendation. I works great, is easy to use and came bundled with some decent software. I have the same question though. It seems to really eat up the batterys. Could it be that the batterys that came with it we old or something? Or will I need to keep a supply of fresh batterys in the boat at all times.

Hi Guys,

I picked up an HP-320 a couple of months ago. It doesnt appear to be much different than the 315. Mine also goes through a lot batteries in no time. I am just wondering if it has something with the operating voltage of these camera's.

it says that the camera is 9x8x5inches! That's huge! Is this correct?

Treats, the camera is about the same size as a standard 35mm. 5" long, 2" deep and 2.75" high. Will fit into your coat pocket. Takes great photos, just seems a little tough on batteries. Reminds me of the hand held GPS units I used to have. I will just carry some extras in the truck I guess.

Yes the camera eats batteries but I was told they all do. Now first thing to do is never use the little viewing screen in the back as that's what eats your batteries. Secondly get yourself the adapter to plug into the wall when you want to upload your pics to the computer, that will save your batteries.

One more thing I did was buy a 32 meg card and I can now take 40 top quality pictures. As for batteries I buy the cheep ones you get at the dollar store and keep a pack of them in the boat.

Good luck everyone and may you take over 200 photos of fish next year. :-)

It has a timer, 10-15 seconds I believe.

Can you buy re-chargeable metal-hydride batteries instead of eating up the alkalines? I have a digital for my department at work. Have 2 sets of 4 double A rechargeables (1 for backup). They recharge in less than 8 hours and supposed to get 1000 charges. Total cost 30.00.

me too, treat daddy.
let's compare notes after we test them out, and post accessories we buy and whether they are wothy of purchse for the other musky freaks...

definitely need to get bigger storage capability, and I suggest we find a good deal on AA rechargeables and a charger, plus an adapter to plug the thing into the wall for home use...

Ho Ho Ho,
papa joe

So far I really like mine. Thanks TM for the tip. I hope that you are getting a kickback on all these cameras being sold, LOL. Hope that I get to take a picture of a big one as well.
