Im looking to hire a guide for the Madison lakes fishing for Muskies or some of those huge pike. Anyone know of any very reputable guides?
Thanks for your help
Chris

Travis is a great choice, and so is Jeff Hanson. I kave fished with Jeff this year, and he is on fire 'hot' right now, with near 50 legals already.

Hey Steve, do you have a phone number for Jeff by chance?
Thanks

Not with me, I am up North today. It is a 608 area code, should be able to get it from Information.

The only phone number that I have for Travis is (608) 838-9877
He also has a web site www.thefishingguideshow.com

He would be the guy that I recommend.

Have not fished or met him but I know friends who have. Lee Tauschen(sp?) out of D&S Bait is supposed to be real good. Last I heard he was pretty hot too. Was earlier in the year when I heard that.

Again, never fished with him but have heard nothing but good about him.

Good Luck and Be Safe,

I'll second the vote for Lee Tauchen (608-276-0177). I've fished with him several times and he really does a great job of putting you on fish and teaching you little tricks on how to work baits to trigger more strikes. He also gets tuned into the big pike on Lake Mendota in the fall which is really a blast too.
