After 5 seasons, my (lightweight) Gander Guidewear is less than water resistant. I tried spraying it with Camp Dri, used 3 cans of the stuff. It seemed to help a bit, but water still seeps through the backside when you sit on wet boat seats, through the knees when you kneel on wet boat carpet, adn eventially soaks through all the places where the fabric rubs when you cast. Has anybody tried the Nik Wax spray, or the stuff you wash it with?

If so, does it work with insulated rain gear? My insulated stuff is even worse. It's warm. Too warm down to about 40. But waterproof it ain't!

I use it on my skiing gear here in CO, it has worked great. If you have an REI swing by and let them know what type of material you need to use it on. They will point you in the right direction.
