Has anyone found a pair of insulated rubber boots with enough room in the uppers to tuck in a survival suit. In the next week or so the docks will be pulled and launch and retrieval of the boat will require standing in the water. I have considered cutting the felt liners off at the ankle but am really looking for a better solution.

I don't have this problem at any launch, but if I did, I think I would get some hip boots....but then change into my warmer boots once I'm free from the launch and safely onboard the boat.

I wear "Mucks" for working in the woods. You can get different levels of insulation depending on what you want. They are fully water proof and pretty comfy.

I tuck my wool pants into them. They are fairly loose around the calf area. I guess you'd just have to try it and see
