| Lots have been written about "the right reel for 10's".
What about 8's ? I'm interested in putting some double 8's on my "list" for this year but would hate to have to buy new reels. I have Abu Garcia 6500 C3's. Would these be adequate? I don't want to burn the 8's, just want to be able to reel then in without too much stress and strain.
Your thoughts?

| As long as you put a power handle on it you should be a-ok |

I garantee you'll catch more fish,..... I like the Revo high speed for this very tactic.
Speed Kills, especialy with smaller buck tails. |

Location: Land of the Musky | Even my bass reel does well with double 8s with the exception of burning. A small musky reel will work great. JMO
